Wow! Do carnival-goers have "crewes" or clubs the way the groups in New Orleans or the mummers of Philadelphia do? Or is everyone an individual? We have a Columbina mask from Italy that is pretty amazing.

Wow is right - these are absolutly stunning photos. Each one better than the next. What creativity and artwork in the costumes. Makes my hometown Apple 'n Arts Festival look pretty pathetic. Thanks for sharing!

They are gorgeous!!!
We have something like that in a smaller version in a little town nearby,the costumes are the same,just not so many people,but still wonderful to look at and a lot of fun!:D
