Did you see the pics from ST.Paul de Vence?
Itīs such a lovely village, full of artists and art.I can understand why Adrian liked it so much. This village has a special flair and atmosphere .BTW, Adrian is right:the water from that fountain has definitely NO lucky taste. But if it is supposed to bring luck...I personally couldnīt see any results from drinkig it but who knows, maybe the water is taking its time to work?At least itīs 7 years since we were there.Itīs absolutely great and I plan to go back one day.

I was very interested to see the electric stringed instruments in a couple of the Cannes photos. Many moons ago I played cello and just recently pulled Charlie (my cello) out again for something at church. Until these photos, I'd not seen electric ones. I was even inspired to spend a couple of minutes googling electric cellos. I'd hazard a guess they are not as popular here in the States as they are in Europe. I find it a bit odd to see that since there is no need for the acoustic body of the instrument, they added ... uh ... wings to enable the player to hold on to it with the knees like they would the body of the acoustic instrument. Looks like it might be even more dicey for ladies wearing dresses to play the electric ones without the acoustic body to hide certain things. ;)

Thanks for posting the pics, Sue, and thanks to Adrian for sharing his adventures with us.
