Hi friends,

I had a mini-brain spert the other nite and ran this idea by Carmel. So, with her blessing, here is the idea I had for the new wee bairn.

What do you think?
What do you think about forum members donating money and perhaps using that to purchase one of the larger gifts for the wee lass, specifically from the "Forum"?
In that way, even those who have been hit very hard by the economic mess can donate what they can and still be a part of the gift-giving?
We could get one of the more tech savvy folks to do an email card with each donator's screen name or real name.
Would there be anyway to set-up a central collection point? Im sure the members would be more than satisfied to have you or Vic pick the gift since you know what the couple is looking for.

Much thanks, Cool. Carmel relayed that when Vic gets back they would look into opening a Paypal account to make the donations into.
I thought we would "kick the idea around" until then and see how many folks might be interested.:)

Sounds like alot are in with the idea. Now just have to wait until Vic gets back and works out all the details!:D

After reading all the above message about Appeace's idea l have the the information to make it work :)

I have opened a Paypal account specifically to use for the Baby Gift and maybe anything else in the future.

This is open to all members, there is no set amount to donate. All donations big or small will help get that wonderful gift for the baby. Gift to be decided later.

Any amount you like
Currency - please choose US Dollars
