Tournament (Oh My...)

Cross your fingers and Please wish me luck! I have entered my first tournament, this Saturday. I am competing in Breaking (Knife hand, elbow, Ax Kick & Jumping Ax Kick) and Form (Taegeuk YI JANG). I am very nervous, yet, also very excited!!

I just found out that I have 1 minute & 20 seconds to set-up and break all four. I bought some boards last night to practice today. I just need to know that I can break them. It's different when practicing with hard foam. The knife hand I have to break with my left hand (i'm right handed-hurt hand); so my sense of direction is all messed up.

Practice is good. We know you can do it, but it's better that you know it! ;) :D Besides, you're right: things are different with the left hand and you've got to train your brain to yield dominance, right?.

Thanks guys!! I was actually pretty relaxed after the first "Form" competition. It was nice not to have my heart pounding out of my chest. btw: yes, "The Master" was there...when I was doing my breaking, he came over and stood right in my eyeline.:mad: Threw me off slightly. I had back off the last kick, but I still broke the board and got the Gold (I beat out the boys!).

Bloody Hell, he did it the whole tournament. It was driving me crazy! Everytime I turned around there he was. Although, I will say, it was nice to see him and I loved the Masters Demostration. Oh yeah, during that, he was kneeling right in front of me on the floor (I was mat side). Now why do you suppose he did that?:confused: :D ;)
