Firefox Personas!

Firefox now allows you to dress it up with "personas" or header banners. Some of the folks here have created some very nice AP work that could be submitted as personas.

After browsing the personas, I was thinking about how one would go about it. There might be two things you'll want to consider before making a persona. One is that what you see is just a tiny strip across the top and an even tinier strip across the bottom. A lot if the ones already submitted have a big picture that doesn't show up well because Firefox's work field covers up the center of the picture. So, your persona should be constructed as if it were letterhead paper, with a skinny banner at the top, and bottom, and color in the middle.

The other issue is the copyright of the picture you choose to use. I"m pretty sure anything from Highlander is OK: Davis will probably be delighted to have extra advertising, but I'll ask Bluesman, the HLbb administrator, to check just to be sure. So, Victoria, may the creative people use pictures from this site to make personas that give them "more AP" in their lives?

Ooh, I know: how about if the bottom banners had this sites address in teeny tiny letters, so new friends can find their way here? ;)
