Filming had to stop on the set of The Source as AP attempted to eat a crocodile (or was it an aligator?)

In response to the first post of this Thread.

The last Thread was taken off as a large majority of the posts where completely inappropriate for this Forum.

I think the idea of a caption game is great, but please remember this Forum is Open to everyone(including Adrian) to read. With that in mind, please remember what is and isn't appropriate for this wider audience.

So this means what???

We can continue to post or we should stop...

I'm sorry but I'm confused...

There is no need to stop this thread. As l mentioned l like the Caption Game. What it does mean is that people have to be mindful of the posts they are putting up with respect to anyone being able to access the Forum.

So all we ask is that the posts be in a appropriate manner.

Please continue on with the Thread.

Can I make a suggestion - how about a Q & A section and a Do's and Dont's section about what we can post and cant post - as you say it is an open forum.

There are also a lot of nationalities on the board with each country having a totally different outlook on what counts as humor.

Would it also be possible that if a thread is removed for you to post a reason why or instead of deleting the whole thread just delete the posts that you find offensive and PM that person with a reason why.

PW--"Hey!, I said cop--not STOP!!!"

Well I for one believe in having a little fun. I'm afraid the idea of some on what is appropriate and what is not does differ. In our household we have just about everything that AP has produced, including blooper reels. And if you've seen those then perhaps some of us would consider AP to have a sense of humour. Innappriate? Well the pictures got released on DVD for all to see.
The word appropriate is not enough! Let's face it there were no rascist, sexist, religious or four letter words used. The posts were based on innuendo. Perhaps they could have been more subtle. But then it's always been since childhood, "what can I get away with?"
Even our Royals use terms to explain exactly what they mean. The Princess Royal, Princess Anne, uses the term "Naff Off". Now hands up those who don't know exactly what she means by this?

I would like to think Adrian Paul does visit this site from time to time. Even if it's just to get an idea of how his fans, I hate that word, view his work. I've only met the man a couple of times but on each occassion he seemed like a run of the mill, normal, red blooded bloke to me. That's why I'm here and that's why I do what I do. Even if that means poking fun from time to time. Well he has a chance on any board to poke fun back.

I appreciate as a moderator myself that there are times when stuff has to be withdrawn for certain reasons. But it's always discussed first. I believe that members here vary in age. I'd have guessed the majority are a little older than let's say teenagers. Maybe I'm wrong? But us "older generation" are entitled to have a little fun from time to time and not be told you should know better.

So what is appropriate? I've seen nothing posted here that would have got my red pen out! But then maybe I have a sense of fun still which I intend to keep until I pop my clogs.

Maybe I should introduce a Thunderbird Thread again? Mmmm. I'll have to think about that one.

Mods have a difficult job at the best of times but members have a more difficult one without a set of guidelines. The main problem being balancing the equation to please all, and that's difficult. My fear is that some of the regular posters here may disappear if the board is to sweetness and light. Or just plain boring.

VelvetGlove (VG) aka Vernon Gaunt aka Melony Frontage I forget the rest.

You mean Mr Mountebank, Pepe. Oh he's for real. Not me at all. I'll admit to the above but Mountebank! That's another story. Mind there are some people that hang on his every word because he says it as it is. I was expecting another email from him last week but it appears the natives of North Carolina, well one in particular, his name was "Bubba," took a liking to him so much he's gone into hiding at present. I'll let you know when I hear from him for sure.
And if you think Mr Mountebank isn't for real just do a google search for eyeborg adrian paul and see what comes up first.
