Ok.. most know I was in a movie last summer.. which was called "The Final Season"

Its a baseball movie based on a true story in Iowa.
Well an official announcement has been made to its release date.
It is going to be released friday Oct 12th in about 1000 theaters.

Here is the website for it.

I already have seen the finish version of the film. It is very good. I got to go to a screening of it back in January in Beverly Hills. Then it had its premiere at the Tribecca Film festival.

But the official release date for it will be October 12th.

For those that don't know and missed it. My part was that of am umpire. Which most of it was cut. But I did stay and work a few extra days as a crowd extra because they needed people badly. Which I'm in a couple of those scenes. You can read my story of my adventure from last year on my site.

But just letting everyone know.
So be sure to check it out for me, the rest of the cast, and everyone involved. Thanks

Yes I'm an actor.. I was in this movie last summer. Went to Iowa for a week to film just the part I was in.

I've had roles in a few other small time films and then a few small fan films I did on my own.

But this is the biggest movie I have been in so far. I've also been on TV. I had a small featured part on the tv show Ghost Whisperer. Which they gave me a name for it. So I stood out a little more then just being an extra since I was a special guest that day on set.

But hey its a start. One step at a time.

Hi Matthew,

I'm new to this (or any forum for that matter), and just wanted to say congratulations on your new film role. I'll be sure to keep my eyes open for it.
Since I'm such a newbie, I hope everyone will be patient with me while I learn "the ropes." :)

Other casting people when seeing it on a resume won't ask what is that. Never heard of it. Now they have so they know its not fake. lol
