G'day,
I read in the papers today how Sting and his wife were fined ?25,000. Now I've usually loads of time for the lead singer of The Police but in this case he needs horse whipping. IMO.

The man who has championed the green movement, saving tribes in the Amazon Forest and spreading the gospel for global warming was found guilty today of sacking his chef on the grounds that she was pregnant!!!!!

Well really Sting!! What can be more natural as giving birth! Isn't it amazing how one can go off someone whose high moral standing on green issues doesn't include the health and welfare of a woman?

Shame on you!

Agreed Daisy,
I'd have thought a guy like that would have more consideration.
Zilch!!!! Don't it just want to make you kick the sod?

They have kids right??? Ugh...what a crap bag! Of course there may be details we're not hearing, but if it just because she's pregnant then yes...crap bag.

Why did he sack her?? I mean you can still cook when you are preggers. Or was she throwing up in the soup. Or is it a case of whos the father?? I havent seen anything about this so dont know the details.

I knew about the lawsuit from E! Online, and am REALLY disappointed in the result. I had always suspected that maybe Sting and Trudi were more interested in "hugging trees than people" and I see that it may be true. Of course, there are two sides to every story, and we don't know all the details...

Unless it was a case of tantric pregnancy - and Trudi got suspicious, hmmmmmmmm

From what I've read it's a case of Trudi (whatever her name is) putting her foot down, I mean stamping her foot and expecting to much. There is an appeal lodged against the charge but if they sacked a pregnant woman because she was pregnant then maybe they deserve all they get.
I'm sure there is some wrong on both parts, there always is as a rule, but discrimmination on work ethics is frowned on in the UK.
