I'm a tree hugger...Pictures from my trip

So I just got back from my trip to California. We ended up going to Sequoia National Park and just had to do the cliche picture of me with the giant trees. I couldn't help it, I was awe struck! :D Here's a couple of pics, just cause I thought they were really cool and wanted to share the awesome power and beauty of nature with the rest of y'all :p Yay for trees!!

Those pictures are worth a 1000 words. If you haven't them it is really hard too completely describe them and there magnificence.

It really is difficult to imagine their size if you've never been standing next to one. The weather was actually very agreeable.

We were trying to decide whether to go to Sequoia National Park and see Crystal Cave and the trees or to Yosemite and see the water falls (which I LOVE)...not much of a choice since lack of rain has all the water falls dried up. LOL. Hell...Texas is green compared to California and it's not that green right now. Oh so very brown. I was soooo glad to finally see live grass upon my return. :p
