Hello everybody!

Some people might know my name or at least it should ring a bell. If I have the time, I lurk here and read the latest news, but I never had the time to sit down and properly introduce me.

Last night Stone (who remembers her from the Hidef-board?) arrived at my place and later on she will hop over to London. Last night we had to watch some Highlander, of course, as we always do when we are together.
Sometimes other HL stuff creeps up and we already gave up the thought that all is just coincidence. The BBC was on the telly this morning and we heard the phrase "there can be only one". It's no joke!

A few years back we went to Brugge (Belgium) and spotted three HL related things that day. First a van with the letters A & P Services (we had chuckle) than we ran into a statue of the 4 horsemen and whilst having lunch we bumped into lovely Scottish ladies.

I'm sure that you all have tales like this to tell.

Over the years I have made some dear friends, whom I have seen in the flesh and whom I had lenghtly emails with. And let's not forget the phone calls! The phone company has me down as an international caller, I'm proud to say. :) Somebody told me that I sound like Tessa (which I do not) but I like the compliment.

Having international friends shaped my character and it expelled my knowledge of English. Although I still cannot spell my name out loud.

I'm waving at all of you! If I start dropping names I'm afraid I might forget a few and you are all in my mind & heart. Hope to hear from you soon!

Hey VG,

from one writer to the other ;) the path of writing has unsuspected hills and valleys. And lots of curves. I have written 4 short novels, busy on the next one, but also busy with various writing contests. Not that I have a position to win, but being part of it, writing with a theme and having a deadline :eek: shapes my writing.

Yes, Karolien is a young lady now, she likes all the girly stuff and her favorite colour is pink. Congratulations that you'll be a grandmother in April. That must be a special feeling that your child will have kids of there own. Now you can spoil them and sent them back to their parents later on. LOL

Yes, Hidef was a special place and I find it a bit sad that it isn't there anymore. You know, in the end it lost all it sparkle --- I hope this space will have or get that feeling. Like a community on the Internet. That was the great thing, we had people from all over the place and the world opened up to you.

Karolien and hubby are fine. Only two more working days to go and I have that long awaited holiday!
Time surely flies! I know I haven't been in touch much, but writing really is time consuming and I had to focus myself on that. But I did see that you are still making the best wallpaper that there is out there. I like the picture of AP that you have in your signature.

I have shown Stone the pictures of that convention in Holland and told her what it was like. Fond memories again. Yes, I have read the posts of Tiny and I have to contact her real soon...

Amazingly, we handed out an award to the same actor... But we also had a lot of catching up to do, 'cause we hadn't seen each other for over two years. Being in different places and all working at our careers.
