Hi all,

There is no end to this man's talents - I have all those clips to from the Colby's, I wonder if he could still do it! The ballet and dress in lycra. I like the black one better than the pink!

I hadn't watched the Colbys for about 20 years until today. Gee did folks really dress like that for real??LOL and talk about big hair!!
I reckon Adrian might need a little practice with the ballet by now, but I'm sure the lycra would still look pretty good. Probably need to be a couple of sizes larger though.:D

Thanks Stephy, I've never seen the colbys in English!!

Wouldn't mind lycra tights but that 1piece suit is horrible! Then again I was too young in the 80s to take responsibility for fashion crimes so I can't sympathise. ;)

Very nice! When The Colbys was first broadcast I never watched it. I didn't know what I was missing.

Thanks so much. I have never seen any of the Colbys and really enjoyed that. I wish I could see more of that series. (Just Adrian's parts, of course!)

Thanks Valoise,
Oddly enough I did watch it when it was first on TV here, but I must be honest and confess that I didn't really notice Adrian at the time. He didn't make me sit up and pay attention until Duncan MacLeod walked onto the screen.

If I'm right, The Colby's was a spin of from Dynasty. We only had Dallas and Dynasty to watch, so this is al new to me. :)

Die-nasty! LOL

watching the 1rst season of Highlander is like; did we dressed like that? Those huge cell phones! Nowadays they are so small, I have to dig for oil in my purse to get mine out!

[SIZE="3"][COLOR="Blue"]Oh Yeah the days of the shoulder pads. What did they used to call it "Power Dressing"? LOL All those supposedly powerful women who's status was judged by the size of their shoulder pads. I loved the US soaps back then becase they were so daft and over the top. Who can forget Bobby in the shower.LOL If you killed off a star then changed your mind it could all be just a dream. Far more fun than the modern British soaps like Corrie or East Enders. I like to watch TV to escape the real life morons that I have to deal with every day. The casts of these current soaps are way to like may of the parents from my school and that is scary!!

Its so funny watching this kind of prog after so long. Boy were some of the lines funny.
The ones that I like best are where Adrian's character turns secretly to Bliss and says in that deep Russian accent " Meet me by the reflecting pool"
I about fell of my chair laughing :D I wonder if that is the corniest line Adrian has ever had to deliver over the years?
The other that makes me smile is when Anna asked him. "Don't you ever tire of the admiring glances?" LOL I sure hope not because he must still be getting them from women everywhere he goes.

In a way that's understandable. In the clip from the Colbys Adrian is young and very cute and has a screen presence, but I don't think he projects the kind of powerful personality that he does later. He isn't as physically powerful either, at least as far as upper body strength (although still way above most young men at that age).

I think he grew as an actor and matured as a man into someone who just kind of pops out of the screen.

Very true Valoise and I did tend to have a thing for older guys rather than guys near my own age back then. I was nuts about Sean Connery, but not until he got into his late 40's and older. Funny thing is Adrian often reminds me of SC in lots of ways.

I didn't know Adrian was such a good ballet dancer until I saw this scene from The Colby's.

I really like this video you made from the blooper reel.
