I got Seance a couple of months ago and I must say I and the rest of my family really enjoyed it.
Its the best thing I've seen Adrian in in quite a while.
When I first read the storyline I couldn't imagine that even playing a dead, paedophile, child murderer I could ever find Adrian truly sinister but I sure did. I hated Spence in the way anyone should and that is a great testiment to Adrian's acting. Especially in view of the fact that although we see him a lot he hardly says anything at all.
The blue eye colour was rather a surprise and gave him a much colder look than his own lovely brown eyes ever could. They had an extra significance too that you would miss if you didn't watch the end credits.
I think the most chilling scene was when he sat on the little girls bed singing Itsy Bitsy Spider to her. God that made my blood run cold.
As modern horros go this movie wasn't too full of blood and gore or shock horror moments but it was very well shot, edited and acted. They kept the tension going right to the last moment.
Bravo Adrian and all concerned for a job very well done.

I loved this movie.
Didn't expect too--usually hate the scare you to death ones, but this was really very good. I really lliked the way Spense was shown in this film as well...you slowly learned to be afraid of him--and you slowly learned how really horrible he had been.
Yeah--when he died I cheered.
It was rather difficult to picture Adrian--and that's really ridiculous because Adrian is playing the character...that is what made this so good for me. Here was a character--something like the charater Vern Stevens had been--way far out from other characters Adrian has played--can't say he's just like Duncan--cause there's nothing about either Verne or Spence that's Duncan, John Kincaid, Cole Daggon--have in common.
For the first time I can honestly say I forgot that Adrian's attractive--jeeze, even his voice was scary in this--I was very impressed--especially when I was happy he died----but did he???? Wait until you see the ending...you will really wonder.....

Hello again,
Have not seen this movie yet-not available here yet, but I agree whatever character Adrian Plays-good or evil he is simply amazing.

Hi, Everyone,
Here's my 2 cents on this movie:
(written from Adrian's character's point of view)
HOLLOW SOUL
You wouldn't listen to her,
she tried to warn you about the seance.
Knowing full well, I'd return,
to kill even more!
Taunting you,
like a cat, playing with it's prey!
Thinking you'd finally killed me,
you felt safe.
After ridding the world,
of my evil.
To no avail though,
for inside someone you know,
There lies my hollow soul within,
and no one, even suspects!

Ok I finally ordered this movie from Canada so I could watch it. I agree with the above opinions of the movie. It was pretty good. A few scenes could have been better but overall, good. Although I can see why it wasn't released in the theaters. It leaned a little too close to a tv movie. Just my opinion. Adrian's character was spot-on menacingly "creepy". I loved his little "dance" down the corridor has he stalks Allison. It's amazing how much Adrian can convey without any words. I have to agree with Adrian, they should have played up the blue eyes much more. I can see where some people would miss the significance.
StephyC - thanks for the heads up about the scene that occurs in the middle of the credits. Odd place to put it since so many people don't watch the credits.
If you haven't seen this movie, you really should. It's a wonderful testament to Adrian's acting skills.
I ordered mine from Amazon, Canada also, but I haven't been able to watch it yet. Now I am ready. Thanks guys for the heads up on this. When I finally do get to watch, I'll let you know.

Yeah it was an odd placement for a scene that could hold such significance, I missed it myself the first time I watched it. Does possibly leave things open for a sequel though.;)

I know I wouldn't have sat through the credits if I hadn't been warned ahead of time that there was another scene in there somewhere...As for the sequel, I was thinking the same thing just before that movie "Fallen" jumped into my head.
