I was talking to my son last month and we were reminiscing about when we used to watch Highlander back when the series was broadcast. Told him that at that time I never imagined that I would get to see Adrian in person, let alone have him as a Vancouver tour guide.

I won't be able to make it on the tour but going to the con.

I have to be back home because my movie premieres in theaters at the end of that week. On the 12th. Plus stuff all week long. Wanting to sit in my hometown theater and watch it there. Something I kinda promised myself when i started acting to do.

I'm trying to get my registration paid for. I go to start it and something else comes up like important. Then its gets crazy and I can't finish it. I have to stop in the middle of it.

But....
If anyone else is needing/looking for a roommate. Let me know, Get in touch with me. I am going to be needing one. I'll settle for a roll-away bed in the corner of the room or a few covers and a pillow lol. I'm usually not to picky..

I'll also bring some fun to any room and a laptop to be able to check emails and more. Not to mention all the fun and trouble that being my roommate would get you into over the weekend. :D

Well I got that roommate and everything is ready except my suitcase. Which I'll pack over the next couple days. I'm going to Colorado for a few days before hand on some quick business before flying on up to Vancouver on the 4th. I'll be getting in around noon.

I imagine everyone else is going to be heading out in the next week or so too. So everyone stay safe and those going see you at the con too.

When any of you others see me. Be sure to introduce yourself so I'll know who is who. LOL

Some of you I know make sure and say hey too.. Others I'll be glad to meet.. We should of had an AP board meet up there too.

I'm going to be all over the place from the sounds of my schedule. LOL This group that group, and everywhere! So make sure and have fun too!

Seriously, we do have to eat sometime. At the very least maybe we can meet up in the bar. I'll also be there a bit early. I should arrive on Wednesday the 3rd sometime around noon so I've got a couple of days of sightseeing to squeeze in.

I am not promising anything but l am trying to organise something so you can all pick each other out really easy rather than try to look for wrist bands. But of course we should all have one of those also. ;)

Yes, I'm a big fan of volunteering; it's a great way to meet other fans. HLWW7 was my first con and I hadn't met anyone. Meeting new people is usually not really easy for me so I signed up to volunteer. Great idea. I've been to a couple of PWFC events since then and volunteered at both of them, too. Got a bunch of new friends now that I look forward to seeing in Vancouver.

Plus, in my professional life I have been on various committee and boards to plan conferences and symposiums and know how much work goes into even simple events. Good staff and volunteers make things run smoothly.

Well to all those going to the con I really hope you all have a great time. I am so disappointed about not going but it turned out for the best as I found out a few months ago that my university exam is on Monday so I did the right thing not signing up when I wanted to. I live in the UK so with travelling and that I would be hopeless during the exam well more hopeless than usual as wouldn't be able to stay awake. That old saying what is meant to be will be, strikes again.
