At the moment their is no new information as to directing and producing for Adrian but as he mentioned in Burbank last month he is working very hard on some new projects.

Adrian was very excited about what he is working on at the moment, so l am sure there is some wonderful and exciting times ahead.

So keep checking back because as soon as we know you will too.

Stay tuned :)

Whatever happened to Adrian's efforts to produce a project based on the historical Cassanova? Has this been dropped for some reason? Can't remember reading any info or seeing any discussion on this for a while. Does anyone know?

Hi Scarlett, one of the "Ask Adrian" questions kinda covered that on AP.NET He's putting that on hold right now I think it said. Go check it out.:D

Thanks, so much, Daisy 696, I completely missed that! :o Hope it actually happens one day. Actually, I would love seeing Adrian in any period romantic type role; flashbacks were one of my favorite moments on Highlander. I'm really looking forward to seeing the Sir Francis Drake film. Again, thanks for the answer.:D

Daisy is right. I had asked the question under "Ask Adrian" since I too was curious. He did say that it was on the back burner for now. It's like David A. was said, it can take 5 years or more before a show or movie can become a reality. I hope it works out because I love seeing Adrian in period roles. Oh what the heck I love to see him in anything!!

Wondering if you would include here small acts of directing, such as done during the recent Vancouver Tour? <G>

There were a few moments where Adrian was functioning as director and cinematographer, such as at the restaurant when Jim Byrnes was playing, at Mt Seymour, surveying the "pond", and again at Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Park in Chinatown. I'm sure when the DVD comes about, we will get to see some of his work.

There's also his new project for PEACE, which he certainly was directing on top of that boat. But I've got to tell you, while I could hear Adrian's direction, all that I saw was a huge white light with an occasional hand passing in front.

The man must be very busy indeed. How does he find the time for his other projects. I do know writing and creating different things take time. Unless he writes very fast under a month.
I think Adrian should create a mini-series in a draft format, something that came to mind, ":p conspiracy he wrote."

What new project for Peace are you referring to? I must have missed this. Was this something he mentioned at the Vancouver convention? If so, what is it?

The new project is called *Waking the World* Tour. Adrian was very excited about it in Vancouver when he talked about it and he wore a nice T-shirt with the logo on it but since then, I don't believe we have heard anything more about it. I guess when it's all ready to be launched, we'll hear about it.

I understood it was going to be musicians getting together, sort of like band aid or comic relief, wakeing the world logo has a guitar taking flight ...if i recall correctly, and I haven't heard anymore about it since Vancouver, I've been checking the PEACE site as well.

That's right, it was supposed to be musicians touring around the world in support of the children that PEACE cares for. I 'm sure that we will hear something about it in the future. Maybe it's still in the planning stages. Adrian shot a video the weekend of the Homeward convention when he met up with the people who were on the Vancouver tour at the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver on Sunday night after the convention and to my knowledge, it's not been seen yet so maybe when he announces details, we will have the pleasure of seeing that video. :) It was wonderful to sit in the theatre and listen to Adrian talk about filming Highlander episodes there. The theatre is just simply spectacular.

so you got to do the tour , thats just wonderful, I wished I could have, but with my buisness, it was impossiable. I did however, get more then I ever expected out of the con. I waiting patiently for more news on the peace project - waking the world, you know, its really gonna be vital that the charity gets lots of support, children were going without bad enough, now with the economy, world wide that is, the rise in basic foods, and rioting, the kids are really going to feel it, children, the elderly, and disabled will really be suffering. One thought I had is the teachers across boarders, basic needs must be met first, feed the child, then the mind, unless both can be done.

I missed the 'hint' but Tessa referred to *Waking the World* Tour. Could that be "Waking OUR World". There is

With this headline .France buys memoirs of great lover Casanova http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20100220/stage_nm/us_france_casanova

I am wondering/hoping/praying/wishing that there will be renewed/increased interest in Adrian's project based on Casanova. :)

Do you think that it is possible?

AP is busy parenting right now, and it's a pretty all-consuming task, even with two "primary caretakers." I guess we can hope that whoever else is involved in the effort is carrying it forward. Who else was on stage with him at the con, and did he mention any other names?

I'm curious about Adrian's recent tweet where he talks about being at a meeting for *Call Of Duty*. Wonder what that is?? A new project?? I understand that there is one of those violent video games that gamers play that goes by that same name, but other than that, no idea!

Cassanova is a project that Adrian wrote that he was hoping to market to PBS to do a series that he wanted to star in and perhaps direct. I know he said he shelved it for now but was hoping to get to work on it later (at LA convention).

I do hope he pulls Cassanova off. That rascal was a fun read.

He has a movie currently in production called Deauville (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1436010/) . Only problem is I can't find anything about it....like a plot synopsis. Only that its current release date is this year in France. Looks like it has a pretty good cast though. Hector Elizondo, Isabella Rosellini, Lara Flynn Boyle, If anyone has IMDB Pro they have access to more information about it. Unfortunately I don't.

If memory serves, I seem to recall Adrian saying something to the effect that Deauville was shelved for lack of funds????:(
IMDB only shows it to be in pre-production--same as it always has shown it.

I hope they unshelve it - that's a wonderful cast.
