Thank you so much for posting your pictures. The only thing that would make them better is if they could talk. I would have loved to what was said at the discussion of the Source.

Yes, thank you for the pictures. It's great to see what those of us who couldn't go missed. I would really like to see more written reports though. I really enjoyed reading them in the newsletters. It was great to get peoples reaction to what they heard and saw. So all of you who went please feel free to give us your reactions to the Convention. I for one would appreciate hearing from you.

Everytime I see these pictures I find myself wanting to go to one of these conventions. I haven't done a convention in years (Comic-Con totally burnt me out) and I've never done a specific fandom convention.

I think I asked this before, but I can't remember where, I was at the con, and I have some special pictures I would love to share with you all, is there a way to put the negatives on a disc, and put them on the computer?

 You have pictures and you haven't shared them yet? Did you do a report of your trip? Do you have any funny anecdotes from your travelling to the convention?

You could have done Kinkos or Walgreens or some other photo developing place to get the negatives on a disc when you developed them. I think Kinkos can still scan them and put them on a disc for you even now, though. I've never tried it, but, Kinkos can do anything. I swear by Kinkos, can you tell? ;) Er, I guess I should ask what country you're in before I go off and name any more companies. That's me. The Californian. Going back to thinking in my own little 'U.S. bubble'. Getting access to a scanner would work also. As for putting them up online, there's a ton of online photo storage places that are free: Flickr, Photobucket...Okay, I know there's more, but, those are the only two I can think of. I think Kodak even has a free storage place.

I'm here in god's country, GOOD OL' OREGON :p and I've been working on a story/report, but was hesitate to post it, as the first one I did, I posted on hlww group and it centered on Peace, and I got a admin. notice, and I figured that no one cares to hear anything inspirational, or personal. I'm a believer that all things happen for a reason, karma.... and I can say for me, the whole trip was an amazing experience on many levels, and It does My heart good to have seen first hand, that good people are still around, real people come together like a family. Kindness has no boarders, and Adrian championed this. I don't want to babble like Brady :) but I will tell the story, and I called a photo place and they said they can scan them, so I'll get to work on that, I don't have very many, but the ones I have are special, but thats part of the story:D

Ah, catch 22s...Gotta love them. :D I run a fandom list where I keep everything positive with the idea that nobody wants to come to a fandom where everyone is always fighting or stabbing each other in the back and I use my admin power to enforce this ideal. I mean, the fans represent the actor, right? Anyhoo, I've been the target of so much flack over the past seven years (I'm still pulling daggers out) because of 'sensoring' that, ironically, my nickname became 'Attilla'. I'm not sure how 'Attilla the Hun' fits in with peaceful fan clubs, but, there you have it. *haha* Thankfully, I have a wonderful staff to help me with this. My point? Yes, I have one...Whether it's a peaceful forum (Like this one) or one with a bit more bite to it (Like *Coughs*, well, you know which one), there's always going to be people that don't fit the profile of the whole and those people are going to be the ones that get hurt the most. It's tragic and one hundred percent Fandom Politics at it's finest.

I would love to hear your 'unedited' PEACE version of the convention. I'm sure a few others would too. I mean, for me, at least, that's why I became an Adrian Paul fan. Because there's more to him to believe in. Let me know when and where you put all this up. I'm so there.

I too would like to hear your report. I wouldn't worry about the reaction you received on the other site, I've visited there from time to time but it tends to be pretty negative, just a different vibe as far as I'm concerned. So feel free to share with us here. I've never felt negativity on this site. We may not always agree with what everyone has to say but thats what makes life interesting. Any one else out there that has hesitated to share your Con experiences, please feel free to do so, you'll be "feeding" us starving fans for Con news.:)

Thanks, Nora. These photos are lovely. I especially liked the ones from the tour, as Adrian seemed relaxed, and as if he were having a great time. I wonder where he got the jacket; I would love to have one like it. The quote is similiar to what I'v always believed..we make our own destiny..hence the username. :)

Will you be putting up more photos soon? I hope so.

And, hcla, I would love to read your con report. It seems the reports from this con have been far and few between. And, for those of us who didn't get to go, they are like manna to our souls. ;)
