I was thrilled to see that not only is Adrian's 'Lost Colony' showing at Cannes but also Peter Wingfield's 'The Last Sin Eater'. Let's all keep our fingers crossed for some wider recognition for them both.

LOL Carmel for some strange reason I have this mental picture of Peter & Adrian strolling along the promenade in Cannes to "The Boys Are Back in Town" played by a band.:D

Seriously though, I hope both the movies do well they both really deserve it.

This is fantastic news! It must be exciting for them both to have some of their work on the screen at the Cannes Film Festival! I was checking out the Cannes Ferstival Official site as well--and I find it rather confusing because they list the 2007 festival movie list but I don't see either Lost Colony or The Last Sin eater listed....I just know I'm missing some link I should be clicking on...just not sure why it isn't as obvious as the rest of this listings....

There's a lot of talk about Ocean's Thirteen--Brad Pitt, George Clooney--Matt Damon--and even more talk about some movie Jude Law is in--and of course Micheal Moore has captured the morbid curiosity of everyone with the movie "Sicko"....

I guess we will just have to keep one ear to the news and and eye to any alerts.....

I don't think that Adrian and Alexandra went to Cannes last year, but they did go in 2005 when D/P were shopping Highlander The Source around there. We saw those lovely pictures of them all dolled up for the *Broken Flowers* premiere. It does seem like last year though and not 2 years ago which makes you realize how fast time seems to fly by! It would be wonderful for Adrian to be there this year to attend the showing of Lost Colony but I recently saw an article on how expensive it is to stay in Cannes and if you aren't Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt you might have to think twice about going. Some of the hotels cost upwards of 3 grand for one night, and you have to pay for a minimum of 12 nights regardless of how long you stay. :eek:

Yep! LOVE Amy Lee! Saw her last year in Chicago and will be seeing her again in St. Louis on July 20th with KORN! How awesome is that?

But as much as I love the music of Evanescence......I would rather be watching an Adrian movie. LOL! Just can't find one TO watch...dagnabit! :D
