I finally got a copy of the movie, "The Void". Even if it was recorded for me from off satellite, at least I can finally watch it. Is it any good? It looks & sounded interesting to me. :)

It is a good movie, not a great story line. Then again it is always enjoyable when you can get something new of Adrian's to watch.

There is a mixture of romance, action and drama. You get to see Adrian's mischievious little smile and l am sure there will be a couple of scenes you will enjoy :) Will not say to much until you watch it. Oh and Amanda Tapping is a wonderful actress to watch also.

Let us know what you think.

I thought it was very good. I loved the chemistry between Adrian and Amanda Tapping. Made me wish they had been paired together in Highlander. They would have made a great couple

Really? I didn't think so, but that could be because I don't care for Amanda Tapping. The movie itself was ok. Adrian did a good job, especially the scene where she hurts him. He did that great. I also liked the young woman who played the blind girl. She was also very good.

I guess that I was thinking of the bedroom scenes and of his humor in some parts-sorry:D :D  Who was the blind girl-her friend who got attacked??:o

I have read that Amanda Tapping's body double did the nude scenes for her. Does anyone know whether this is true or not?

I had read that too and if you watch the scene closely, you can tell it is a body double. I always thought that it would have to be very strange to do the same love scene with two different people. It would just be really odd. At least I think so. Actually I can't even image doing a love scene with so many people watching.

See what you guys made me do? I went and bought this movie on Amazon (Along with Code Hunter, Premonition (Which I finally understand), and Nemesis Game so I could get the super saver shipping:D ) just so I could see, *Coughs* Amanda Tapping's body double. Yeah, yep, yesirree, that's why I watched certain scenes over and over again. To compare, you see. I'm such an analytical and thorough person.

My opinion of the movie? It was pleasurable to watch. A little draggy in some areas. I suppose I could lie and say it was magnificent, but, I won't. It has nothing to do with the actors (Who all did a wonderful job), it was the storyline, itself. If I find myself yelling at the television screen because a character is being stupid -- brilliant man wants to make energy saving breakthru before he dies of cancer, yet, doesn't learn from his mistakes and doesn't bother looking at potentially disastrous findings, and then looks surprised when, *gasp* disaster hits -- then I know to blame the writing of the film and not the actor. But, still. I was growling at some places. This means I need therapy, by the way. I mean, who yells at their television sets? Does this actually help or change the plot? No, the only purpose it serves is to entertain those who may be watching the movie with me and to scare my dog.

I like some of Adrian's other movies better. In fact, some of them I watch over and over and, er, over again. Okay, maybe I'm just a tiny bit obsessed with one or two of them. And maybe I can quote some of them word for word. *Whistles* (We need a whistle face in the smilies) I don't think "The Void" is going to be one of those movies I go an memorize the lines of. But, the pause button works wonders on some of Adrian's facial expressions.

Hey MeridianXO, Premonition has still got me confused, were the people living or dead , living in a different plain of existance? The movie flat baffles me, I watched it twice, and still don't get it, I'm beginning to question My own intellegence.

I started a "Premonition" thread so we can go there and bash our skulls against brick walls together for a while.

Oh come on MeridianXO, I think the VOID, has it's moments,(I'M SMILING BIG) the love scenes were are too sweet. I do agree with you, a bit draggy, and I do yell at My T.V., ya know the classic "YEAH RIGHT" and the "WHAT THE HELL IS HE/SHE DOING?" I hate horror movies, because they really don't scare me, and you know if I spot a dude With a butcher knife, I'M NOT OPENING THE DOOR TO SEE IF HE'S THERE. Anyways, go check out the new thread you started, I'm starting to babble like Brady.

Oh, come on. Horror movies are fun. So are B movies. My dad and I love renting these just so we could do the whole Mystery Science Theater 3000 to them. My mom thinks we're nuts. We just feel we bond this way. :D

Yes, "The Void" has some moments and the loves scenes are nice and gentle and, er, well, we know Amanda's body double's body really really well, don't we? *Haha*

I saw the Premonition thread. I responded to it. My answers are as babbly as your questions. Now I know why nobody started a thread for that movie. Brady's contagious.

I liked the Void--the storyline was interesting. I enjoyed Adrian's character in it. And maybe I am in the minority here, but I didn't think Amanda Tapping and Adrian had much scene chemistry....the lines were cute, and delivered on time, but there just didn't seem to be much sizzle there.

I had actually thought originally that (in the sack) the two love scenes had more chemistry to it, and when not there, the two Characters were too much at odds...but then I learned that there was a body double for Amanda Tapping--so I guess that explained that to me....

I agree with you on that. This is one movie that I have not purchased yet. It is available and I keep waiting to find it at a good price.

I just bought "the Void" yesterday and "Merlin, the Return" Both are good movies even thoough they aren't ones I would memorize over and again.(Big smile) like some of the others I watch over and over (episodes)
I am not ashamed to admit that I yell at the characters on tv and in the movies. I talk to certain ones and yes, the pause button gets alot of attention......including slow-mo.(smiles)....(we all know what scenes get peat and repeat)......
I also have nemesis game and like to watch it as well....
I'm the type of girl who likes to see a man with muscles and brains, long hair and attitude, take care of business the way it should be done, yet has a soft caring sensitive side, (like DuncanMcCleod) with a quick smile and mischivous humorous side as well. all of his movies are beautifully done, but some of them just have to be repeated more than others, I am sorry. I can't help it...
(great big grin).

Well, one can't help it, I must admit I've watched the Many Loves of Ducan McCleod, on the series set @least 4 times:eek: :D

You know, since you said that, HCLA, I actually went in and rewatched that on the Highlander Series set. Can you believe I actually forgot about that? Considering I watched it all these past few months, that's kind of shocking.

Yes, the love scenes were nice, as I said. It was also cute to watch Stephen's little expressions in the air shaft crawling around.

I admit I watch every little detail, the interviews, the "making" by the scene selection button, everything I can get my greedy little eyes on......I think I am obsessed with learning all that I can.......why Why WHy WHY(slap) thank you......
 I continuously watch every episode of all six seasons and I cannot find a certain love scene between Duncan and Tessa, yet it is on the Many Loves of Duncan MacLeod. But, it is only in part on that one, I think...not for sure. I remember seeing it somewhere but I can't find it in any episode. This is the one I am looking for:
Duncan looks in an oval mirror, remembers Tessa with her blond hair and looking sexy and then he takes her to their bed and makes love to her.......
Can anyone tell me where it is and what series/epi??????Please?
I am on season Four again, for the fifth or sixth time in about that many weeks and still haven't run across it.....

I don't know which one you are talking about, but episode one Tessa and Duncan are having graphic sex on the couch before they are interupted by richie, connor, and stan. The episode is the very first one called ''The Gathering". I think this is the European version.

I'm wondering, is the highlander series, European version, totally different, I mean, can it be purchased, or is it just select episodes that are different?

I think the european versions are on the vhs or dvd that are bought through the highlander store. I have to see if my invoice has the telephone number to the highlander store. Or you can go to the web site. :)

I finally got a chance to watch this movie. Let's just say it was interesting. Not one of his better movies, but ok to watch anyways. I liked The Breed & Code Hunter more. :D

I am a Void fan, really liked it but i like Amanda T and Malcolm McDowl. I liked the story too although it was a bit squashed but i know that on a smaller budget they can only so so much. Quite liked the Breed and Code Hunter, but my favourit so far is Nemesis Game. Thought he was great in that and good twist at the end.!!! Not giving it away to anyone that hasnt seen it.
