Maybe I missed this earlier, but I just found out Little Chicago is available on DVD from Amazon.

:D Thanks Murphy for the heads up. I'm putting it along with Seance on my Christmas wish list for Santa. The general consensus is I've been a really bad girl all year but I've been really good at it so maybe I'll get them.:p

I recently watched "Little Chicago". It wasn't very good as a movie but there were some good and very good stand-alone scenes interspersed throughout the film, especially the last 20 minutes or so. The scene with Adrian's character and his father was very touching.

I was surprised to hear Adrian's character speaking with an English accent given that the movie was filmed in North Carolina. I'm not sure what the point of that was, except maybe make it seem even more incongruous that his character would be buying pot. The young star and writer of the movie, Scott Miles was good, I think he has the potential to be a bigger star given the chance.

I loved the video on this-it was great and a very moving part on his father.:)

Haven't seen it yet but I would guess this was a role where accent wasn't really relevant, so why not stick with his English one. Where a movie is shot doesn't have to dictate what accents the actors use.
I have to ask Barney; Why would having an English accent make it "even more incongruous that his character would be buying pot"? Just as much of that kind of thing goes on in the UK as in the US.
