Well I finally got to see the "Cover Girl Murders" that Adrian made oh so very long ago, round about the time he started "Highlander". It was ok just your usual television movie of the week. But it was nice to see Adrian running around on the beach in shorts. He even took his shirt off at one point and jumped on a jet ski, which I'm sure he loved! He obviously ad-libbed through a number of scenes but that was great. He can be very funny, like when he told one of the models to look sexy and he said just think of me, you know you want me! Who wouldn't!!!;) What a tough shoot that must have been for him, all those beautiful women running around in bikinis, the white sand beaches, the gorgeous sunsets. He definately is willing to suffer for his art, isn't he.

What did anyone else think of this movie?

I got mine by checking eBay and Half.com often. It is a VHS and was more than I expected to pay, but I had to have it when it came up. I very rarely does come available.

I am still looking for Shooter. Does anyone have an extra of that movie? It is the one that I have not seen.

There are a number of copies for sale on Amazon.com right now and the least expensive one is only 4.99$.

This is not a great movie and the rest of the cast is just mediocre but Adrian is wonderful in it as he always is ;)

I got my copy of it from Amazon.com and as Ambereliz said it was fairly inexpensive. I paid about $8.00 with shipping. No more than you'd pay to see a movie these days. Well worth it to see Adrian in another role.

I Loved the ending to this movie--have to admit I didn't see it coming. Like Adrian's role in it!

I finally got around to watching this. What do I think? It needed more Adrian. Especially the shirtless riding the jet ski scenes :D :D It was okay. Very interesting ending.

I do wish the opening had been a bit different. I picked it up on ebay a while ago but hadn't had time to watch it. My dad was here for xmas and I figured it would be his type of movie so I stuck it in for him. He turned it off after about 10 minutes, said the opening was just awful, horror sort of stuff. I was kind of like it was a made for tv movie and an old one at that, what could be so horrible about it? Especially since he likes Columbo/murder mystery of the week sort of stuff from that time period. So after he went to bed I had to sit down and watched it. There wasn't even any blood  Kind of a shame, I think he really would have liked it but he refused to watch it.

Regarding Shooter:

Rush over to eBay (Which is where I got my copy of "Shooter") and the same guy ( collectabullshoppe1 ) has another one up with "Buy it Now". Whoever wants it, go get it. He's selling it for cheaper than he sold it to me, too. Figures...

Years back, when i first heard about The Cover Girl Murders, I wanted to see it. Could not find it so ordered it from a video store. When arrive it cost me $73.00. Two weeks passed AFTERWARDS and was on TV. Whoa. What a waste of $ when I could have seen it free and taped it besides. Was good but I would have enjoyed more if Adrian had had the lead role. Remember the bionic man (can't remember his name, was married to Farrah , he had lead and was not great. fran.

I bought this movie *forever* ago. Actually, I thought it was very good for the type of movie it was. And I like stories with an ending you didn't expect. I don't remember where I bought it at the time, but I've converted both this movie and The Shooter into dvd format so it would last longer and not start degrading on me.

I agree, Adrian is great in it. The movie is better than some that he has been in. I never would have figured out the end - that was interesting. I have a bad version that someone must have spliced together though. There are lines in it at different times. I still enjoyed it though. Adrian is a hottie!
