Scrapbooking anyone

Is there anyone here that does Scrapbooking.

I have heard and seen a lot of this but never tried it. Would be great to be able to talk to others about this and find out a little before l try it.

I've done a bit of it. What I would suggest (and what I did) is look for a beginner's class or something like that, where for a set fee they usually give you a book and a few supplies to start with, you take your photos with you to class and they teach you how to do a few things and you get to use all the teacher's tools. Because otherwise you could spend an arm and a leg on tools and supplies without knowing what you need, want or like. The teachers or shops around here that do scrapbooking also have scrapbook nights, where for a small fee you can go in in the evening and use the teacher's/shop's equipment. And there will be other people there you can share with and maybe demonstrations of how to do something or new equipment or something. Works really nice if you're just starting out or if you're poor, broke and can't afford too buy too many supplies at a time ;)

My Mom does scrap booking and I've decided to give it a try.
Looking over all the Highlander memorabilia I've collected from Conventions, I thought making a scrapbook would be a fun way to share and keep it in order.

I'm a scrapbooker wanna-be. :p I have all kinds of craft stuff, and about a dozen started projects! It's one of those things that if my life slows down ever, I'd like to be serious about it. It's really cool to go to craft stores and see what cool things you can make with paper and other assorted doo-dads!

Ive always said when my kids are grown and gone, I can take the time to do real scrapbooking---Ackkkk---they are NEVER gone! They just come back home bringing my little squibble--so I still dont have the time!!!:eek:
