To date, I'd say my favorite is still Nemesis Game. I loved his characterization of Vern. It was great. Plus I liked the movie. I like movies that engage the mind.
As to what type of movie I'd like to see Adrian in next, a romantic comedy would be great but a kick-ass martial arts film would be nice too if the script itself was good.
Lost Colony at the moment, mainly because its a period piece/historical, Adrian shines in all his work, but really grabs my attention when He's performing any 15-18th centery characters. I would love to see him in works of historical fact, I believe He would of been great in The Tudors as Henry 8, performances of Shakespere, such as Hamlet, or a modern Romeo&Juliet. No matter as long as He continues to be the hero, lover, friend, and the man in charge, such roles He portrays so well, the look on his face, his body language, sometimes the man does'nt need words/lines. I wish He'd been cast in Interview with a Vampire, instead of Brad Pitt, and though Adrian does it so well, bad guy characters, like in Seance, and dead men can't dance, creep me out. A good Mafia movie would'nt hurt though.:)

I agree with you, a good Mafia movie would be great too. But I'd really like to see Adrian get the girl in a romantic comedy. He's always said he'd like to do one too. It would be a nice change for him. I also agree that Adrian can convey alot without any words at all. He's a great actor.

I would say right now Lost Colony, other then Highlander was my favorite role.
I would have to go with martial arts movie, but a comedy would also be nice:)
From what I've seen each one he makes seems to get better than the last one. Highlander The Series will always be my favorite of all of AP's work though. There was just so much depth and so much passion in the character of Duncan. He really had the ability to draw the character out and bring him to life for us. I would really love to see him do some comedy. A romantic comedy would be great.

By my opinion Adrian could be great as Ross Poldark by Winston Graham.
Do you remember the English's series: "Poldark" by BBC in 1975????
Ross was the romantic hero of Cornawall and his life was full of adventures.
I loved Ross so much in my adolescence: he was my hero....for all period of teen-ager......:D
Adrian is perfect for every character and for me he can be the romantic Captain Poldark.
Love,
Bea.
p.s. in any case Adrian is my hero from 1994, he is now....and he will be FOREVER..surely;)

ah bea, you are so much a romantic! please remain that way. I have 2 thoughts on this, it is very difficult having that much thinking going on at once....
We have not seen as much comedy from AP, so that might be a better choice, more of a streatch. I however love him when he is bad, so mo bad mo better.:D
 You know...I was thinking...(yes I know that could lead to brain burps or bigger trouble..but...) We haven't seen AP do any movies where his co-stars are children. OK an occassional child doesn't count. I'm talking about the Disney kind of rugrat central!! Stuff like "Are We There Yet?", "Daddy Daycare", "Kindergarten Cop"..etc... We also haven't seen him do any of the sort of stuff that combines live actors and animation.
I was just wondering if it's because it isn't something he would find interesting to do or if he hasn't found a likeable script for one or if it is something he just hasn't had the opportunity to do yet. I think it would be interesting to see him in something like that. Something completely different. :p But DON'T stop doing action, drama and romance!!

I have to say my fav character would have to be Duncan. I believe some of the inner soul of Adrian was displayed in this character, and he played him so well. When Duncan cried, I cried, when he felt pain, I felt it also, and the times he felt joy were unique and lifted my spirits. I have never been affected by a character this strongly. Duncan will always hold a special place in my heart.
As to what kind of movie I'd like to see Adrian in, a romantic comedy would be a good choice, but I'd love to see him play a strong dramatic character using his martial arts skills. And, I'm not just speaking of the action of the fight. I was on the second row at the L.A. walkabout during Adrian's kata, and watching the fluidity and strength of this man brought tears to my eyes. You could see the discipline and dedication he has for this art form. A talent like that is a rare gift.

I agree with you Destiny. Something about Duncan makes you want to stick with him. Whether it's as his girlfriend or just a plain old friend. Like he is someone who would not steer you wrong. And will be there for you not matter what. So the Highlander, the series are my favorite.;)

Yes, Wanda, the loyalty and strength of this character is one of the things that makes him so attractive, I think. You just know he's someone you could depend on in a pinch to be there for you. :)

I think so too Wanda and Destiny. Duncan will always be my favorite because of the endless possibilities the role presents for emotional and physical range. Though I appreciated the skill it took to portray 'evil Duncan', I have to admit he was quite scary. AP would most likely be successful in any role he chooses, :) but it would be great if he could portray another character that gives him similar range.

Strangely enough, I mostly enjoyed Adrian's performance in Seance. The "chill factor" he brought in was excellent. It was so different, really showed his acting range.
I think I would like to see Adrian do more comedy movies. Thinking back to the Highlander episodes that were pretty fun (ie: "Till Death"), his comedic timing is awesome!:)

What is your favorite Adrian Paul movie?
I would go with his early role in Love Potion No. 9 although Adrian appears briefly in it. But I do love that movie and it shows how Adrian can portray a romantic lead with ease.
Is it the story or the character/role Adrian is playing that you enjoyed the most about the movie?
I found the story charming on its own, but Adrian certainly added a lot to a sweet little movie about looking for true love and not realizing it has been near you all along.
Which of the following type of movies would you like to see Adrian in? A comedy, romance, martial arts or thriller?
I would love to see Adrian star in more thrillers. There were moments in Highlander where you could feel the tension as his life or those of others Mac cared about were on the line. Adrian excels at stirring up emotions and a good thriller is the perfect vehicle for him.

What is your favorite Adrian Paul movie?
It's between the Void and Endgame (I know...I know. I don't want to hear it....alright?:);))
Is it the story or the character/role Adrian is playing that you enjoyed the most about the movie?
Let's put it this way....I fell in love with Duncan MacLeod before I fell for Adrian Paul. But it's not just the character It's the way he portrays it. I doubt I would have liked Aaron Gray if anyone else had been playing him. And Cole would have been a boring nerd portrayed by anyone else. The exception is I hate him as a bad guy. I hated Dark Duncan...Gavin Matheson (Throttle) and especially Spence (Seance).
Which of the following type of movies would you like to see Adrian in? A comedy, romance, martial arts or thriller.
I would love to see him in a good thriller (playing a good guy) and with the right co-star and story line he can be quite comical (in a cute, boyish kind of way.). I love watching him doing his Martial Arts thing but I have never seen a decently written (etc.) Martial Arts movie. I think he would make a great Robin Hood or Hercules (or other Greek god-type hero.).
By the way.....does anyone know anything about Deauville (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1436010/)? I can't seem to find any sort of synopsis anywhere.

Adrian in a movie involving children would be great. Especially with the arrival of his little girl. Would really like to see a romantic suspense that has action. He could use his martial arts and in a romantic relationship he could show some humor in a tight situation.
