some pics from vancouver

Hello,
so here are a few pics from the vancouver con, some did not turn out well, as you can see, my favorite of course are of myself and Adrian, which was an absoulute surprise that I got the chance, the goofy look, was because I had not expected him to put his arm around me for the picture,:eek::o, as for the ones of F. Braun, David A, Peter Wingfield, and Adrian caught a bit off guard, those are from Peters camera. Sorry to have to paste the links,I don't know an easier way to share them, I have more from Peter's camera.

cocoknight.... are we on the same clock, I noticed your post at 4:40 am, I'm on the west coast, no reason, it just I was thinking I'm weird since I get up and wander around with insomnia, like last night...or rather this early am....On a different note sorry your weekend was crap, in lots of ways my last 2 monthes have been crap, and the way I try to get up beat is to visit the forum, and trying to get the pics done to share with everyone. I was in a meeting last week with a nurse friend I had'nt seen in years, she is one of the most inspiring person I know, her calling like mine, is Hospice care, I had'nt seen her for years, she use to be a very large woman, but those of us that worked with her, we never saw that, anyways she went through gastric bypass, I can not even begin to tell you how much she suffered, even at the hands of co-workers, she said to me....that she came to a conclusion, when she was so unhappy, " your as happy as you choose to be". So, no matter what crap life deals us all, we can all choose to be happy. :)

Sorry... showing my age. :o In the '70s, the west coast was sometimes called the left coast. Looks like I graduated high school around the same time you were born...:eek: :D:D

I totally blocked out the seventies, myself. All that purple corduroy, blue eye shadow and matching outfits for him and her. Oy. And what was up with the perms on men? Or was this just my family and their friends? Either way, I was totally anti-fashion by the age of five.

Fortunately for me, my older sister is a child of the 60's, and I was a shameless little copycat. To this day, my idea of dressing up is a tye-die t-shirt (instead of a white one), jeans with no holes, and shoes. :) Love, PEACE and happiness... ;)

I was an 80's kid, went through the Madonna phase, then the new wave.. Depeche Mode, Susie and the Banshees, the Cure... then OH GOD... HAIR METAL, somewhere in all that, a headbangers ball or 2, never did hip hop, all to be cool, I actually was a classical music nut, except for my love affair for classic rock... and Creedence Clearwater Revival, Which aside from celtic music is what my style of guitar playing is. Had my children early, grew up fast, now I'm trying to figure out what to do with the next half of my life.

Oh dear God you just had one of my...albeit...less riscet (sp?) daydreams. :D Taking a pic with Adrian's arm around my shoulder. I think I would have fainted or gone into spasms. LOL. God, I would love to just meet him and just have a conversation sometime. OH and I just saw the blooper from season 5 where they had the cow taking Duncan's head and getting his quickening. I don't think I've laughed so hard in months. And of course being a cow lover (kitchen and dinning room, purses, etc with nothing but cows) I think that's one of my new favorite bloopers. Before it was the one with the Pam cooking spray. Anyways, I just keep on yapping. I just suddenly got the image of Homer Simpson doing his "doughnets and drooling thing" only with Adrian and drooling LOL. I just gotta say that I envy you getting that pic with him and hanging with Peter and Elizabeth too.:)
