How long does it take to be approved to post once you register?

Hello everyone,
I have a friend that is also a member over on the HLBB that just registered, but she can't post yet. I was wandering how long it takes to be approved before you can post? I know when I registered I couldn't at first, then I got an e-mail. Just so the Admin/Mods know here, my registration e-mail went into my Bulk Mail. I am so glad that I checked to see if it was there because usually I don't and just delete it.

My friend's name is Latina MacLeod, she also registered here with the same name. Thanks! :)

it would seem 24 hours or so, lol, thats how long i waited, but im here now, lol. gracias amiga for asking. luv ya.

I was posting within a half hour of registering...it maybe that registering during the week is quicker than on the weekends. I would have your friend contact the mods and see what's up!

I also have a friend that registered a week ago. I told her to check her Bulk folder and then contact the admin if she still can't get in.:D

With reference to how long it may take depends upon when we receive your request in our inbox. Once it has made it there we try to get people approved within 24hrs. Please keep in mind though that we all live in different parts of the world so the time delay is also a factor. As you may be registering at 10am your time and it may be 3am or 11pm elsewhere.

As far as l know we have dealt with any problems to date. If you are having a problem please contact us and we will get back to you asap. Keeping in mind we also have day jobs that may get in the way at times and delay proceedings.

Good catch, dreamer. It didn't happen to me when I registered on this board, but it did on the J.R. Ward board and one other. You never know if Yahoo will put something like that into the spam folder or not.
