It would be nice to get an official confirmation as to whether The Heavy is actually screening at Cannes as I can't find it on any of the lists of films that are screening there this year. :(

try this-- it is the official screening schedule from the Cannes website-

Parkland Pictures website includes information on the Heavy, including trailer on the link already given above.

The Heavy is not screening at Cannes - the statement on Parkland Pictures site is just advising that John Cairns and Ivo Fiorenza of Parkland Pictures are attending The Cannes Film Festival.

Just updated the news page to say that this weekend Adrian finished a voice recording session (looping) for the The Heavy.

The Director Marcus Warren, is now in Los Angeles finishing the sound production of the film for screenings to take place at The American Film Market in Los Angeles on November 4.

They are showing it for one night at the Swale Film Festival in Sittingbourne on the 10th July.

Question for anyone...Why isn't AP listed as part of the cast in this movie? The new website (http://www.theheavymovie.com/index.php) has been launched, AP is in the movie trailer, but he is not listed anywhere...why:confused::confused::confused:

Just checked Amazon UK and The Heavy is due to come out on DVD on December 28, 2009. Wonder how long before it makes it here to the States.
Wish dvds were compatible, I'd buy it from the UK.

We have been advised the 'The Heavy' is set for general release in UK theaters in mid April.

This will be followed by release in other territories in Europe.
