The following email was posted in the Yahoo JumpCon room today.
I think everyone who bought tickets from Shane needs to read
this and take action:

"I gave up waiting for my "pending" refund in Paypal - I know that it
will never get funded by Shane so I called Amex last night and they
are going through the charge-back process fior me.
They tell me it will take about 30 days to complete but I will get my
$300+ dollars back. They tell me I am "not the only one" going
through this process with this company (gee what was my first
clue). :)
I am thankful I used my credit card for purchase and I HIGHLY
recommend anyone who paid by credit card to start the process of
charge-back (DO NOT WAIT FOR SHANE TO REFUND YOU).
I actually have 9 emails and 2 records of trying to get a refund from
Shane/JumpCon and Amex said that was good enough for them as proof of
my due diligence.
