Carmel spoke with Adrian concerning JumpCon and its effects on all of
his fans and has asked if she could send you a personal note from him:

Jumpcon." Aaaah yes. Unfortunately I can't use the word I would “really”
like to for obvious reasons. It is now about a week after I found out,
that due to circumstances beyond my control, I won't be going to see many of you this summer. I was really saddened to hear about those of you who spent a lot of time and money on convention tickets, plane fares and hotel reservations that somehow disappeared into the Jumpcon blackhole.I am so
very sorry to see those of you who have supported me for so long being treated in this manner. I hope that one day events such as Jumpcon are made accountable for their financial structures before a convention takes place, thus giving everyone some comfort that what is being advertised is real and will happen. I just wanted you to know that I am thinking of you all and that the future brings you more positive things.

Peace
Adrian Paul

Victoria,
Please thank Carmel and Adrian for thinking of "the fans". Hopefully, we will be able to put this behind us and go onto better things. :)
Thank you, Debbie

I agree--thank you all for your kind efforts and words on our behalf. Please let Adrian know, and I think I speak for the majority of his fans, that we do not in any way blame him or PEACE. This venture was, in my opinion, something which got very big, very quickly and overwhelmed the organizers and they lost control of it.
I am very saddened that it appears that my one chance to finally meet the person I so admire is gone. However, it saddens me even more that I have lost the opportunity to meet some of the best folks in the world--Adrian's fans.
I have also lost a great chance to physically do something to help the PEACE cause by working the table and that is something, I know, may never come again.
As to money lost, I will handle that but it is not nearly as important and dear to me as meeting everyone would have been:(

Thank you Victoria, Carmel and of course Adrian for the heartfelt personal message to all your devoted fans.
Jumpcon was a dream come true for so many of us. And for some including myself, their first convention ever. The opportunity to meet Adrian at a dinner table discussing everyday life and to be able to tell him how much I admire what he does for so many people was over-the-top for me.
There were so many things I wanted to say to him.
There were so many wonderful Adrian Fans I wanted to meet.
There was the opportunity of volunteering at the PEACE table to raise money.
So many wonderful "There's"......left undone.:(
I truly believe everything happens for a reason, and I know in my heart something good will come out of this.:)
I look to the future......Adrian, his fans and PEACE will grow stronger!!;)
Hugs,
Carrie

Aww, that was so sweet.

I'm not taking the JumpCon debacle as badly as I thought I would. It came at a time when everything else was going wrong in my life, so what's one more thing? I only lost $455. It could have been worse. I could have chosen multiple JumpCon cities to get ripped off from. :o

Thank you for responding to all the folks who sign up for "Jumpcon". I was at one point very close to signing up for the one in Dallas, but my husband wasn't sure it was a good time for us to spend money at that time...For a change "he was right".

Again, for those who did sign up, I'm sure the message from Adrian helped out a bit.
