Yesterday was my birthday, though. It was nice and relaxing. Spent it with family (As opposed to Detroit *Pointed glare at JumpCon*). I was able to forget about all the crap in my life presently (Losing my house, moving home with my parents, battling lawyers, packing, finding a home for my dog and cats, etc). My cake was strawberry shortcake and I totally found myself spoiled with a laptop (Not new, but, still awesome after we put the upgrades onto it), an external, a dvd player (That supports DivX), and an engraved Cross Pen from my sons.

Victoria, I heard your birthday was around here somewhere. *Winks* I know Australia's like a day ahead of California, practically, but, today is August 25th here, which puts it around August 26th there, so.., Happy Birthday right back at ya. :D

Anthony Burgess once wrote, "Things are never as bad as they seem" in his book regarding the life of Shakespeare. I read that line yesterday (It's taken me years of actually staring at this book on my bookshelf before I deemed it interesting enough to actually pick up and read -- my family thinks I'm nuts for this, by the way).It stuck out at me probably because of what I'm going through right now. And I just found myself thinking, "In a month from now, once I'm settled in, I'm not going to even give a sh*t". *Haha*
