Highlander II

I now have all the Highlander Movies I considered to be relevant and that goes with the Highlander Lore. I did not purchase Highlander II because I think it goes way off on some tangent. I am posting because I want to know everyone else's opinion of Highlander II, Renegade, and I think there was a third remake of Highlander II. What is the best version of this film and should I even bother getting it?

I have The Limited Edition
Highlander The Quickening (1 )
Highlander The Sorcerer (2 )
Highlander Endgame (3 )
Maby there are others ,but this 3 movies are the real one ( i suppose )

1st film: The Highlander, 1986
2nd film: Highlander 2, The Quickening
3rd film: Highlander 3, The Sorcerer aka The Final Dimension
4th film: Highlander 4, Endgame
5th film: Highlander 5, The Source

I have them all including the tv series, except for Highlander 2 the Quickening. Highlander 2, The Quickening was originally released in 1991. It did not do well and fans were disappointed. Then there was a Directors Cut of the film released called Highlander, Renegade or Directors Cut. Supposedly, some fans got together and remade it again. I never purchased Highlander 2 or the directors cut because I don't really count either as being part of the Highlander saga. I want to know everyone's opinion on which version of Highlander two would be the worth getting and or if they agree or not whether it should be included in the Highlander saga.

Sorry i couldn't help you with this as for me the only Highlander is Adrian Paul so the movies before Endgame do not interest me :)

I did watch both versions of HL 2, the Quickening and The Renegade version. I enjoyed the Renegade version much better although I didn't begrudge the Quickening version any. I suspend belief and just go along for the ride.


(except for the source, couldn't do it, didn't watch, don't ask)
