Three things.....to answer
What are your answers to these three questions....just thought I would ask....Donnie
1. What book are you reading now....and would you recomend it?
(Just finished reading James Patterson, Step on a Crack. Very good...cried at some of it)
2. If you were to receive a hundred dollars and told you have to spend it on yourself.....what would you buy? (me it would be more books to read, there are never enough books for me to read...read at least two a week...and yes I work...read during breaks, lunch, fixing dinner, watching TV...)
3. If you were given a hundred dollars to do with as you would like, what would you do? (go to the nearest shelter in town, and give it to them to buy what is needed)
Just though I would ask.....

1. Im reading "Dark Challenge" by Christine Feehan. She's awsome. I love this Dark Series she is doing. There are 18 books right now.
2. I would use the money on books, clothes, going to the movies.
3. I would use this money on my children. Make sure all there shoes were fitting and clothes. Everything cost so much, even at Walmart. lol

Re: Three things.....to answer
(Covering my face here.) Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Suess for the billionth time. It's my own little tradition with the G-kids and right now most of my time is spent with them. But I prefer Scifi and on some occasions romantic novels.
Well, I've just bought new clothes, shoes and jewelry so I'd save it for something I'm hoping to do later on down the line.
I'd donate it. Because even though I don't have a great deal ; there are a lot more people who have a whole lot less and could use a helping hand.

1. Wilt in Nowhere by Tom Sharpe. A farse, Henry Wilt, a college lecturer in UK gets into a tangle regarding an over sexed lady who's married to a member of parliament. Sex, drugs, S&M, arson, bad language. Whilst his wife and four daughters (quads)are visiting their American relatives. They get involved in a supposed drug trafficing scenario with FBI and other agents in hot persuit of a mother and he 13 year old daughters. VERY INAPPROPRIATE!
2. Stash it with the rest I don't need anything at present. ?50-00 don't go very far.
3. Stash that as well. Sorry I wouldn't hand it over to a shelter and when you give it to someone for charity one never knows who benefits. Please don't think I'm a mean person because I'm not. Just careful.

Re: Three things.....to answer
Dont have time for books at the moment - it sort of comes in spasms - I read on the bus going to and from work and I've been reading the Centro newspaper that are free on the buses - I've got a Dan Brown (Deception Point) thats been sitting on the bookshelf for about 3 months or more but I'll get to it sometime.
Like VG ?50 doesn't go far - could buy a printing cartridge for my printer.
I would buy loads of dog food and take it to the local rescue home (Sunnyside) at least I know the dogs would get it. The only problem with that is I would probably come back with another dog!

1. I'm reading a book called "The Coming Plague: New and Emerging Diseases in a World Out of Balance" It's a very large book about many of the different microbes on the planet and how we are effected by them. Like our journey in the eradication of Small Pox, the origin of AIDS, the emergence of Ebola and Marburg viruses, and our role, as a species, in the contracting and spread of these diseases. Awesome book about microbiology if you're interested in that topic...Like me
2. I would buy some new clothes. I'm in the process of losing weight and have lost a total of 18 lbs in about a month and I'm already starting to run out of clothes that fit.
3. I would save it for my trip to California coming up.

Hi Fi, I really loved that book and first read it about the same time as the film was first released, as for me:
1. I 'm not really reading anything at the moment, but will be looking for a couple of good books to take on holiday next month.
2. Would easily blow ?50 on a few cosmetics.
3. Would probably by my grandson a pressy with the other ?50 or if I were to give it to charity it would go to our local hospice.

I read somewhere that there are loads of micro things in pint of milk. If you equated them to population they would all be Greek! Which is fun really as we're of to Greece in August. Well it's better than visiting a dairy!

Re: Three things.....to answer
There are loads of "micro things" in everything. You'd be shocked at how many microorganisms our body handles on a day to day basis. Most our body can handle, even if it does get us sick for a few days. I mean geez have you ever read up on dust mites? Ugh! But they are everywhere! Of course I don't handle them too well cause I'm allergic to them. LOL. I also like to inform people of yogurt and how you're eating something with bacteria on purpose to help your digestive system. OK I'm gonna shut up now. LOL. If you can't tell, I'm quite passionate about this.
