Hi Everyone,

Sam made a great suggestion about a thread to tell us your favourite ten moments or the moments that did not make it into your top ten for the Competition.

As there where some people that were not able to enter for different reasons this is one way they can still tell us their choices.

For those that have entered you can choose to tell us about the ten you chose or maybe others that just missed the cut ;)

Maybe tell us why these where your choices or why they are the ones that missed the cut.

We all have varying ideas of what is a great scene to us, it is interesting to see it through someone elses eyes.

Not To Be: The alternate universe with Tessa alive again felt strong enough for Duncan to want to stay no matter the costs.

These were my TOP TEN.
1) HIGHLANDER TS SEASON 6 EPI.12 "TO BE" (First 2 minutes)
The first scene where Duncan and Amanda "Rock the Boat" was a great scene which showcases Adrian's ability to do a Romantic Comedy. I especially liked the line where Duncan says "That's what I call a layover!"

2) HIGHLANDER TS SEASON 6 EPI. 13 " NOT TO BE" (12 min.-15 min.)
The scene where Duncan and Tessa make love in the studio was one of the most heartwrenching love scenes ever! Perfect portrayal of a love that knows No Boundaries.

3) HIGHLANDER TS SEASON 4 EPI. 14 DELIVERANCE (approx.12-18 min.)
The scene where Duncan seduces the Captain's wife is the perfect portrayal of a true "BAD BOY"!

4) TIDES OF WAR (First 3 min.)
In addition to the obvious "treat"....
This scene shows that Adrian is not afraid to step out of his comfort zone and take risks! He rose to the challenge (no pun intended) and delivered a VERY CONVINCING PERFORMANCE!!

5) SEANCE
The scene where Spence rises up beside that girl...Spine chilling! The look in his eyes was terrifying. The way he ran his finger down her sent shivers down your spine in a whole new way.

6) NINE MILES DOWN
The scene where the "She Devil" tries to get Jack to say he'll sell his soul to Lucifer and he is talking about his family...That was a Very Powerful performance!
A perfect mixture of emotions and very strong lines.

7) NINE MILES DOWN
When Jack is covered in blood and fighting for his life shows Adrian in a whole new light! We are used to seeing him in control of every situation. Fearless. But this depicts Jack as a terrified victim and Adrian wears this role Well!!
I personally feel that even though Adrian has done some great work throughout the years...THIS could very well be his best performance since Highlander TS!!

8) HIGHLANDER ENDGAME
The infamous fight scene between Duncan and Connor. The dialogue, the range of emotions, the fight itself..WOW! Too powerful for mere words!

9) HIGHLANDER ENDGAME
The scene where Kate goes to Duncan's room. That in my opinion was a Masterpiece! The way the flashback of them as a tender loving passionate
couple blended in to contrast the tirade of emotions which they displayed in their current situation was sheer genius! And so was Adrian's portrayal of Duncan in this scene. This scene was nothing short of a firestorm and Adrian was burning up the screen!!

AND LAST BUT DEFINITELY NOT LEAST....
10) LITTLE CHICAGO
A new and different Adrian emerges in the scene where Frank scores and rolls a joint for his dying dad. It takes Adrian from the seemingly untouchable hero we are used to seeing and depicts him as a common man dealing with common issues of life. A story where everything is not always black or white. And AGAIN

Now I made my decision after viewing footage of every piece of Adrian's work that was available to me. Then I closed my eyes to see what stood out the most. What I found was that many of my choices were scenes that had
already stuck with me throughout the years.;)

There were a LOT of Great scenes there!! But when I had to narrow my choices they were BARELY edged out by scenes from some of Adrian's Latest work!!

Some of those EvanStar posted were also among those that didn't quite make the TOP TEN.
There was also one from Capt. Drake and one from The Source as well as one from The Breed that came Very close!!

I´m still in the freezer,dancing on the table(LOL) but unable to decide .So I suppose I have to do MORE research to find my close-to-the-top-ten moments.:D:D
And at our lokal supermarket they had"American week" and I finally found out about cookies-and-cream-icecream,the one fav.icecream of Cole in the fan fiction...I could get addicted to that.Imagine,sitting in the freezer,watching Adrian at work,enjoying..well,not only the ice cream....SIGH...
O.K. back to reality,duty for hubby is over and he will be home soon:cool:

Sam we picked 4 of the same top 10 moments.

The others that I chose were from Highlander season 2, The Return of Amanda. I love the scene where Duncan and Amanda dance while engaging in a little verbal dueling, which they did so well. This scene showed Adrian at his finest, so debonair. He definately gives Cary Grant a run for his money.

Another was also from Highlander season 4, Timeless. Duncan as Shakespeare's Kate. Not many actors could put on that outfit and wear it with such aplomb!

Another was from Highlander Endgame. I also liked both the scenes you mentioned they were also on my list but the scene I chose was where Duncan puts down his sword and fights Jin Ke hand to hand. This was one of my favorite fight sequences.

Another was from The Breed. The scene where Aaron is fighting his desperate need for blood. One of the best scenes in the movie.

My next was from Nemesis Game. Which is still a favorite movie of mine. I loved the shot of Vern staring into the mirror. He looked so haunted you could almost see the ghosts standing hehind him.

My other scene was from Throttle. Gavin, Tom and Molly are standing at the bar. Adrian's character was such a conceited, arrogant ass, I just wanted to slap the smirk off his face.

One scene I liked but didn't use was from Unusual Suspects. It's where Duncan is talking to a stuffed moose head thinking he is talking to Fitz. The look on Adrian's face was so comical. It makes me chuckle each time I see it.

This was a very hard project to do, there were just too many scenes to choose from. Not all of the scenes I chose were necessarily my favorites but showed Adrian's versatility as an actor. I definately look forward to adding many more favorite Adrian moments to my list!
