I thought l would post a few old Q and A's from Adrian that were on the old APnet site. I am sure there are a few fans out there that may not have had the pleasure of reading them before:)
The first is below. I hope you enjoy them.

Question:I am nearing my first degree black belt test and I am still having trouble with one very important thing - controlling my center. The suggestions my senseis have given me have not yet worked, and I was hoping you could give me some advice, perhaps by informing me of how you went about learning to control your center.
Adrian: Center is balance. When you don't feel like you are balanced in any position you stand, lunge or sit into, then you are not centered. If you find that someone can push you over easily in any position that you take, then you are not centered. Play around with putting yourself in a few of your kata positions and see if you are in control. Usually what you think is centered is not, because you are trying to achieve something so you are probably overextending your reach. It is the same as when people stand or walk. If you see a person whose head leans forward, that is the type of person who is an overachiever and is not centered. If that fails, then videotape yourself in these positions and see what you look like. Your head should be centered in the middle of your body. If it is too far back or forward, then you are not centered. I hope this helps
