I saw this about a jerk at the San Fransisco Comicon, this guy really made me mad!!! On You Tube called Rusty& Friends and Adrian. He literally had a buddy of his break into Adrian's hotel room pretending to be a security guard looking for someone else!! What a nasty thing to do, needless to say Adrian was pissed off and woke up in the middle of the night! They even had the nerve to laugh about it!! Adrian of course didn't think it the least bit funny! People like that apparently don't think actors are human and need sleep!! Rude, inconsiderate, rotten, mean, and should have been arrested! At the very least kicked out of the Comicon! According to the video our sweet natured Adrian didn't do anything! I still say it was a rotten trick to do to someone so nice and good hearted as Adrian! I'm sorry some people are apparently born an idiot Adrian, I hope the rest of the time was fun for you. I wish I could have been there to meet you maybe some day.
PEACE AND LOVE,:)

No worries, Kellie...that was not real! We are still trying to figure out how they did it, but the guys from HLBB are not fessing up.

Dear Irish, I was fooled, too. The video was make-believe. Andrew is a very clever film maker and he and the guys made the vid up from nothing. You never see AP on the video, do you? You just sort of hear him ( and that may not even be his voice). It's all right; Andrew is a known fan and you know that AP has a good sense of humor. ;)

Here is one of Andrew's creations. As you can see, he has an interesting perspective on the creation of images that look real.

I'm glad it was a fake, it sure fooled me! I was ready to go head hunting! :oAhhh...well I really just hate to see good people hurt so I had to comment about it! You're right you really don't see Adrian at all. Ok I take back what I said about it sense it wasn't real. Thanks for telling me, I feel better about it now.:p
PEACE:)

Kellie, you've managed to do what the whole Highlander bb could not: Andrew said to tell you how he did it.
You can release this statement on my behalf: "To let the cat out of the bag, no, it's not Adrian Paul in that hotel room... but it absolutely wasn't staged. It was at the Porta Vista hotel in San Diego, and the gag was that Rusty's cousin was asleep in his hotel room and we had convinced John -- a trained security guard who just happened to have a shirt that said "Security" on it with him -- to go and bang on the door and demand to see I.D., yadda yadda. That Rusty's cousin's voice actually sounds a bit like Adrian's was just a fortunate coincidence. So yes... going home and looking at all the footage I had, the crazy idea came to me to reverse engineer it to be Adrian-centric... and the rest is history."
Pretty clever, to turn one joke into another, don't you think? ;)

Hey, with my Scottish,Irish blood and the fact that I don't pull any punches when I defend someone or stand up for what I think is right I generally get things done.;) Pretty clever film making Andrew, like I said you had me going! The voice does sound just like Adrian so the trick worked a little too well! I can view it again and take it for what it is: a cleaver bit of film making for entertainment! I would like to see a comicon myself someday if I can afford it. I'v only been to 2 Starcon's in Denver Colorado. Now I live in Alabama so It's going to be even harder to get to California from here and Paris would be impossible. A person can dream though.
PEACE:D

I have no doubt that you'd prefer to attend a comic con with AP in attendance, but all sorts of sci fi / fantasy cons are fun. There must be one here for you somewhere not too far from home?

Or a ren faire? Have you been to one of those? Or a re-enactment? Even if you're not into dressing up yourself, watching other people do so is a blast!
