I'm thinking what you're thinking. GMTA! Lemme know if you'd like company part way. You'd practically drive by my house to get there. :)

LOL Erica, same for me, 3974 miles according to the internet. I still haven't got over it being shown at that UK horror film festival, only 20 miles from where I live and I didn't know a thing about it until 3 days after in happened.:(

::: Feeling sorry for Erica and Stephy ::: :( And here I was thinking about complaining of the festival's change of venue from last year. Last year the thing was in Normal, IL, which is the twin city to Bloomington, IL where I live. I didn't even know it was happening. Of course horror is not my favorite genre. I generally avoid horror films cuz they can give me nightmares. I hope Seance is not that kind.

Here is the actual address:
Located in the Evergreen Plaza
425 E. Rt. 6, Morris, IL
(1/4 mile east of Walmart, near China Buffet)
Here is what the organizers have to say about the location:
"We are changing things around, moving into a new venue that will allow this festival to be something like you have never really seen before. A festival that will be shown throughout 3 lounges and will feature live performances, creepy atmosphere, and more...
The festival will be May 19th through 20th at the XO Underground, a place to truly celebrate Indy, and independent films. The XO Underground is in Morris, IL, and we will provide more details soon ."
It seems that this Festival grew out of the chicago Horror Film Festival and they say that "...It is an exciting time for horror, and we are working hard to bring to you the best Independent horror films out there. ...What has once started with a simple one day festival to showcase Short Independent Horror films has now become a festival for both feature and short horror films and to be known for seeing many of it's featured films picked up for distribution..."
Let's hope that Seance gets picked up soon...

This is very exciting news about Seance! I can see this film going to the theatres. There is a huge enthusiastic audience for these kind of films and since it is doing so well, it just might make it to the big screen. I can't wait to see it! Such a different role for Adrian and I'm sure he must have relished it, much the same way as he did playing Evil Duncan. Thanks for the info Carmel.

Nora,
I can see a road trip in my future.:) Sorry to say I am not only less than 3 hours from Morris...but I haven't gone any where except to work and back. Time for a little R and R.:D
Asked for the Friday night and Saturday night off. I work overnights so will try and see the movie the Saturday showings. Then I have to be back to work for Sunday overnight.
This could all change if I don't get the 2 nights off though.

So glad you're gonna make the trip, Lyn. Looking forward to seeing you there!:D
I do wish they'd hurry up and post when the screening(s) of Seance will be and how to obtain tickets. I do like to plan a little bit ahead, anyway.

Nora,
Did a little search and find. If you go to www.xounderground.com you will find the time and cost. Nothing about pre sale of the tickets. The cost is $5 or half price if you show up in costume. Hmmmm this could be interesting.
If I read it right they have pre show party at 5 p.m. Sataturday and the shows start at 6p.m. to midnight on Saturday. Pre shw Sunday is 3 p.m.
Oh yeah we have to be sure we have our IDs no entry under 18 years or 17 with parent.

I hope you are right with all my heart! I would give ANYTHING to watch any of Adrian's films on the big screen...especially that one!!

The folks at XO Underground finally answered my email telling me when Seance would be screened. It will be shown Saturday May 19th at 8 pm, and not at all on Sunday the 20th. Tickets are $5.00 at the door. They also sent me a complete schedule of what will be screened when, and that is also now available at their web site:
http://www.indyhorrorfilmfest.com/
I hope I am not ostracized for only being interested in seeing Seance. None of the other stuff interests me at all. I'm just a girl with a one-track mind. Of course the Chinese Buffet they say they're close to might be of interest. Does that mean I have a two-track mind?

There are lots of Russian websites that are saying 'Seance' or as they call it 'Danderous Session' is being released there on the 6th Sept. My Russian isn't good enough for me to work out if it will be a theatre or DVD release but a couple of the sites certainly look like theatre sites. Hopefully that will mean the rest of europe won't have to wait long to see it to.
