Hi Everyone,
Adrian has started his reading of the George R R Martin stories. One of the stories that Adrian will be readiing is ?The Stone City?. Personally l have not read this story as yet, but l have just downloaded it so l plan to tonight. Has anyone already read this and if so what did you think about it? How do you think Adrian will approach his reading of it.

Hi Victoria
I went to Amazon to pre-order the book Adrian is narrating and they show the same book with the same release date but the author himself is listed as the narrator?! I of course didn't pre-order it but was wondering if it would be possible to find out is this is the book and the site is in error and in that case could they be asked to fix it?! I tried to get an answer from Amazon but as just a customer there is no way to get hold of anyone who knows (or cares I guess  )

Hi Ambereliz and everyone,
Amazon is correct as to George R R Martin is narrating some of the stories along with Roy Dotrice and others. As Dreamsongs is a large selection of stories there will be a number of different readers involved.
The other stories Adrian will be narrating are as follows:
Only Kids are afraid of the Dark
Shell games
Unsound Variations
Has anyone read any of these stories. As l am new to George R R Martins work l have not read any of his stories except for The Stone City which l have just started. Would be great to hear what others that have read his work think of it.

Adrian has finished his narrating of the stories and has mentioned he really enjoyed it. He has played many different characters during the project to bring it to life.
I for one am patiently waiting to buy my copy and have a listen to what l think will be a wonderful audio book to sit back and listen to during those long drives or just a lazy day at home after all who needs an excuse or reason to listen to Adrian :)
So who has reserved their copy already? ;)

I like the idea of Adrian doing different characters it broadens his range and gives him the ability to expand on the writer's ideas. When one person reads the ideas of another the concept is quite different. The writer puts his ideas on paper so to speak but the reader interpts his thoughts.
can you tell me how to reserve a copy?
