Just wanted to post an official "hi" to everyone who comes in from other realms of Adrian fandom, whether it's the APFCNews list, the HIGHLA-L list, the Holyground Forum, Adrian's Angels, HLWW, DFWs, EDFWs, APUK...

Goodness, there are more groups of Adrian/Duncan/Highlander fans out there than I even know about! (And I'm sure I've missed or forgotten someone.) :confused:

As Adrian says...have fun, but play nicely. Victoria will most likely be more "visible" than I will (especially these first few weeks until RL slows down a bit), but if there are problems you can come to either of us via p.m. or e-mail.

And yes, as we've already discussed about the avatars, there are some things that are still being worked out. But we figured the only way to find ALL the kinks was to just let people start playing in the sandbox and see how it goes. So if you find things that you want to be able to do...or things that you think would be a good idea for the forum...or sub-forums that you think would have enough traffic to merit their own space...send in your thoughts. This is YOUR place. We want to make it as comfortable as possible for as many as possible.

Me...I have very very VERY limited tech knowledge when it comes to online stuff, so I take none of the credit for this one. I just sat back and said, "Yep, that looks really good." ;)

Someone had asked about a map for the fans, to see where everyone is located.....and while I'm sure this doesn't qualify as "official".....we've had a push-pin map open for several years now.

To celebrate Adrian's Birthday coming up, we decided to open it up to all fans around the world so Adrian can see where we all are.;)

If you wish to put your pin in the map and join other fans, it is easy to do.
Just go to the main page of the 2007 Birthday Project and click on the World Map link. While you are there, sign the Guest Book for Adrian too!

Hi all...Just a quick note to introduce myself...Pretty new to the whole message board scenario in general, though I have signed up for 3 in the past 48 hours so thats something!. Mother of 2 kids (one just turned 5 one just turned 3) And genuine dogsbody to the realm of my household, as well as a writer I have some new found time on my hands now both my kids are away from me for at least 4 hours a day! I took up qigong about 2 months ago to try and abalce myself a little and try to lose the baby weight I've been luggin round with me for over 3 yrs! I have been writing for around 6 years and have a rather weird sense of humour according to my nearest and dearest! Music tastes are so eclectic they need an hour long mini-series to explain them! Food...love it too much...except for oysters...to slimey...yeuch!!! I live in Fife in Scotland, and I reckon thats about it! Nice to meet you all and look forward to chatting with you!:D

Hi Everyone
I have been a member of the Yahoo APFC for a while so am used to that setup. is there a way you can get the days posts sent to you from this board i.e as it a daily digest which is the way i used to do it on the other board. And if i wanted to how do i get a picture with my name on a post ?? i know i am lazy but i have shied off from this type of board a bit as i have never really worked out how to use it. And also i havent had any digests form the APFC so does that mean it is shutting down as everyone will now use this one. Lots of questions i know but i am feeling a bit thick at the moment and would value some advice.

If you want to add a picture, go to "User CP" and edit your profile. Click on Avatar. You can choose from there, if you want to use one of those already available. If you have another nice picture of something, you can upload it. I hope that helps.

So glad you enjoyed that! Almost 250 now have placed their pins/people and dim-bulb me didn't even know how to work the dang thing! LOL

I found out there are several pages to the map...I felt kinda silly asking the server why the people kept disappearing off the map! Who knew there were arrows at the top?? :o

I've never met him or been to any of the conventions or seen all of the movies that he's played in . I do own Higlander:Endgame on VHS as well as La Carrera Panamericana and 1998 Highlander Official Convention on VHS as well. I have been trying to find Tracker and The Breed online to watch but cannot locate those episodes. You guys have mentioned various shows and movies that he's done in the last 10 yrs and I guess I'm trying to play catch up with those as much as I can and enjoy learning so much from each of you.

Sadly Tracker is not on line as yet or out on DVD although bits of it can be seen on youtube. Highlander can be watched on HULU and The Breed, Séance and other movies Adrian was in can be found on Amazon.com. If you go to IMDb
