This was just posted by "The Emperor" ;) on the Jumpcon board for the Dallas jumpcon
We have decided since the demand has been so high for these tickets to move Adrian Paul to a round table that is slightly larger. Therefore, more tickets are now available. If this proves to be a problem I will take the extra space back and place them on EBay for auction.

Cut out all sugars, carbs, and do power yoga. :p
*Whispers* The first two are way easier than the third, I might add. ;)
I lost 35 pounds in three months doing the first two. The third one made me realize I didn't want to lose weight that badly. *Haha*
Have fun in Dallas!

Edited to add: Yes, I know that sugar is a carb. But, I tend to separate the two when it comes to dieting. Some times I'll cut out sugars (Soda, candy, etc) if I want to lose a few pounds and other times I'll also take out the breads and pastas if I want to lose a bit more. But, I always take out the sugars first. So, I keep them separate in the little 'carb counter' in my brain.

maybe you can sign up for so much stuff at jumpcon that you are too broke to buy food. then the sugars and carbs work out fine. it seems to be working for me.....gotta go, I think my ramine noodles are done.

TeeHee-----Im glad to know Im not the only one addicted to ice cream!:D
However,I do have to sacrifice something in order to pay for ticket! Soooooo-no more ice cream or clothes buying until after the con:(
(You notice, I did leave room for anything AP buying:rolleyes::eek:)
Bones, are you going???
Im still looking for someone who would like to split the cost of an Emperior ticket as it is for two, otherwise Im going to take son and he's REAL thrilled about being stuck with mum for a whole weekend--ackkkkk!

But, but, do you have an outfit to wear TO the Con? :p
An ECT (Emperor's Club Ticket), despite the $100 price increase, still looks to be the best financial option for everyone being as Shane has deemed it necessary to raise the price for meals, it'll only be a matter of time before the price is raised on everything else. Get them while they're still cheap(er).
As for me, I'm still struggling to pay off my own ECT for the Detroit Con or I'd seriously be thinking about going to the Dallas Con as well.
I hope everyone going has a wonderful time. :D

PS...Are the Angels thinking of doing something outside and away from JumpCon as a group?

Ive not heard anything to that effect---but you never know. Yup, Im with you on the tickets, knowing that if you order them early enough, you can request which meals with which guest. I am considering purchasing a room for Thurs just to go there before the first event on Fri at 9:00am in order not to face a 2 hr drive that early and Dallas traffic--Ackkkkkkk!
I did get a weekend gaming ticket for son, if he goes. I will donate my "down" time to working the PEACE table, if they have one as I have absolutely no interest in gaming. I wouldnt know a joy stick from a doggie chew stick:rolleyes:
Getting to meet some of the friends I have made over the years on AP sites
is going to be a lifelong dream and, of course, getting to meet and listen to Adrian is a once in a lifetime experience!:D
Hummmmm-an outfit to wear-----perhaps Id best reconsider that sacrifice!
After all I sure wouldnt want thousands of people running into the street in total fright!!!:o

Hey Everyone!
I see some of you are going to the Dallas Jumpcon. I'll be attending the one in Boston. I did end up purchasing the ECT which includes the cocktail party.
I read some of you were wondering what to wear. I'm also very curious as to what to wear to the cocktail party. This is my first convention ever. Didn't know if I should bring a dress and hubby a suit. Any suggestions? Or is the whole weekend very casual?
Thanks...Hugs,
Carrie

yes appeace i will be in Dallas. i am wishing now i had done the emperor thingy but alas, i was sure i was not going to do much this time around. you know how that goes!
i am ala carting it. i also have let them know i will work the peace table or the hlww table if they have one and i hope they do. it will be great to see everyone who missed vancouver and who will not be in vegas. maybe meet some new folks along the way.
on the question of dress. you can usually wear anything lots of people are t shirt and jeans all the way. for stuff like cocktail parties or special concert events a lot will dress up a little. i'm not talking prom attire ( though I think that would be histericle and am considering it for giggles) buteven the dress ups are in a simple dress or dress pants, guys can wear dress pants and a button shirt if they want to spruce up. not usually any in suits . however i will state ....if you are single and male you may want to make the effort since the ratio of men vs women is way in your favor! but it doesn't matter. be yourself and be comfortable, wear something you don't mind being photographed in at all times, you never know when a great oppertunity to get a pecial photo with one of your favorites will happen. and i for one don't want my dream shot in something i am not thrilled with.
if you have not gone before it can be a little overwhelming, so many people to meet and chat with, so much to do and enjoy, you won't want to go to sleep. the hotel bar is often the hopping spot, everyone comes by eventually and it is a blast. even if you do not drink you can have a soda or juice or water and be a part of the great episode debates and funny stories.
