Meeting at Covington Jump Con

I will be attending the Northern Kentucky Jump Con. Will anyone be attending

that one? I would like to meet up if anyone is.

I just came back from the Romantic Times Con in Pittsburgh where I attended

the Cover Models Reunion dinner and saw him there.

Hi bonnieprince and Pythian Oracle,

I'll be at the Covington, KY JumpCon. I did the Emperor's Club Ticket thing with a friend, and have signed up for all meals with Adrian. (Boy, is he gonna get tired of our faces! :o)

And Pythian, I was also at the RT Cover Model Reunion Dinner. Adrian looked wonderful and was in great form, don't you think? (Yeah, yeah, that's usually the case, I know. :))

I received an email saying that Jumpcon in Covington has been cancelled. They moved it to Atlanta. If I can't go to Detroit, it looks like I'm out of luck.

Adrian's picture has been removed from November 14-16 (Alabama) and
December 5-7 (New Orleans).

Have these dates been cancelled or shifted also?

I have just checked the pages for Alabama and New Orleans and Adrian's picture is showing on both.

At times they remove pictures while doing updates and then load them back up. If you wait a day or so they will usually show back up.

Yay! Elaine and I bought an Emperor's Club Ticket for Covington, and they (JumpCon) offered to fly us to the new location. I asked them if Adrian was still planning to attend at the new location, which turns out to be Atlanta. And here is the info that he is still planning to attend. So... I guess we go ahead and work out the arrangements. Yay! Hmmmm.... IIRC Ladygray from back a ways lives near Atlanta... will have to bug her and see if she'd like to come. :)

Has anyone who was going to the Covington Jumpcon that was cancelled had any trouble getting their refund. I have sent several emails since I heard it was cancelled asking when refunds will be issued but never received any response.
They posted on their website June 19h that they were issuing refunds but I have not received one or had any type of notification as to when I can expect it.
Just wondering if anyone else has heard anything.

This doesn't sound good. Have you tried calling their sales office directly? They have the phone numbers on their website.

I've emailed sales@jumpcon.com several times now accepting their offer to fly Elaine and me to Atlanta, but have heard nothing as yet. :(:mad: Also, I see that JumpCon does not have Adrian listed as a guest at Atlanta, even though Adrian has said he will be there. :confused: And JumpCon is asking for suggestions for Atlanta guests on their Atlanta subforum. :confused: What a disorganized mess!

I'm thinking that the Boston JumpCon that is scheduled for July 18-20 will be the deciding factor for the success or failure of all JumpCons. I'm hoping it goes well, even though I'm not attending that one. :::keeping fingers and toes crossed::: I'm also thinking that they are not dealing with anything else at this point except making Boston a success, hence their uncommunicativeness. Not a good business practice in my book, however.
