It's back To School time!!!! So let's get everyone's brains in shape. I miss teaching every now and then since I left St. Andrews, (the one in Scotland County, NC not the the one in Scotland. though they are mildly affiliated with each other.) and the teacher mode is in action this morning. I'll write a few lines or a whole stanza of a poem from a famous poet and y'all figure out who wrote it and the title of the poem.

here goes the first one: (this is my absoulte fave)

I would I were a careless child,
still dwelling in my Highland cave,
Or roaming through the dusky wild,
Or bounding o'er the dark blue wave,
The cumbrous pomp of Saxon pride,
Accords not with the freeborn soul,
Which loves the mountain's craggy side,
And seeks the rocks where billows roll.

Hint: the poet was a character in a Highlander episode.

I believe it was the Shakespeare episode. "Timeless". The actor I think was Ron Halder (plays Walter Graham).

sorry ya'll--- the author of this poem entitled I would I were a careless child-- is actually the one and only Lord Byron

Okay how about another:
This is from a play --- name author and charactor:rolleyes:

"A horse! A horse! My kingdom for a horse!

(no connection to Highlander)
