Highlander the Source

First of all I've got to say that I've been a fan of Adrian Paul for as long as I can remember. However, the whole Highlander series is fraught with inconsistancies that have drove me crazy for years. And now I've just finally seen the new movie the Source. If I wasn't a fan and seen it just for what it was it was a good movie, but knowing what I know about the characters I was very disappointed. Duncan wasn't being true to his character until maybe the last half of the movie and Methos wasn't either. I was confused about what was going on well pretty much until the end. When I first started watching it with my husband we both said at the same time "what are they going for a super-hero-action movie?". I know many of you will probably be upset with me for "dissing" the movie, but I was wholey disappointed in it after being so excited about it coming out for so long. The most hilarious moment in the enitre movie was when the Guardian was hit by joe in the truck and he just said "Hey joe" while being tossed a couple hundred feet, however it totally wrong for the movie. Anyways, I mainly just want to see if anyone else felt the same way. And I'm not "dissing" Adrian's preformance in anyway.

Nope I'm not upset a bit. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Viva La Difference (sp?)!!!

Hello and Welcome Cowlover!!!!

Don't worry about expressing your feelings about Highlander, Like Coco said everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I for one love all the movies and series. One aspect you might want to look at regarding the source. Try looking at from the Characters point of view. They know all of the missing pieces that we don't see and it is just supposed to be assummed that the rest of us can guess what has happened in the last few years. For instance, We last left Duncan trying to get back together with Kate. We don't know how she died or even if Amanda is still Alive!!! The extra flashbacks that should be in the movie aren't there, so just kind of imagine what could have happened to them.

Now if that makes sense great, if not oh well, was just a thought.:p
