Hello everyone.I just wanted to drop in and wish everbody a Happy and safe Memorial day Weekend.For those of you who live outside of the states,I hope you have a good weekend too.So what are your holiday plans?

I'm gonna sleep all weekend. LOL. This was the last week of school so I'm gonna sleep first, then maybe have a drink or two :)

First I'm going to sleep in Saturday....and then...I start a week vacation from work on Monday....so nine wonderful days from work...yea...yea...yea...I go back to work on June 4th...this week will go way to fast....

I've got the High School graduation of 2nd daughter tommorow afternoon and then the party to celebrate both daughters graduating in the evening.Sunday and Monday,I visit with my sister from Buffalo.:D

I've got several stuffy ceremonies to go to( Dress blues, hot humid weather, pantyhose,heals, :( yuck!) then I will hide in my room with my computer and work on my next book.

Have a safe one- Cause if I get called to rescue any you I'll be really peeved. i hope this pic works if not oh well

Im going to have a (or perhaps several:eek: )drink in honor of APs birthday with some friends and then prepare for my brother and his family to arrive with my new greatniece, my mums first great grand child. Its the first time we have seen her and I cant wait!!!:D

Hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Memorial Day. It is raining here in Michigan so we won't be doing much outside. We usually attend a very large Highland Festival and Games in Alma, Michigan, but it is so wet and cold, we decided to stay home. The cost of gas for this weekend is also keeping us from going too far.
Those of you who are meeting up in Florence, please post pictures so the rest of us can see your fun! ;)

I won't be doing anything exciting. I have to work the whole weekend.:( Bright point is I do get 3 days off in a row after the holiday.:D

Lt. Mac may I ask which of the services you are in? I was in the Navy myself many years ago, by chance are you in the Coast Guard?. Oh and I do know about those stuffy cermonies.

My son is currently serving in Iraq. My thoughts and prayers go to our troops from all over the world and their families.

On this Memorial Holiday, let me add my thought and prayers to our brave servicemen and women and to their families.
Let me also add my heartfelt thanks for a job well done in keeping me and mine safe from harm, for protecting my country, and for preserving the liberties we enjoy for my children and grandchildren to enjoy.
