The Colbys was a spin-off from the then top-rated series "Dynasty" featured the adventures of Jeff and Fallon Colby (John James and Emma Samms) in California. Jeff Colby accepts and offer from his Uncle Jason Colby to work for the family business (ColbyCo). He unknowingly bumps into his ex-wife Fallan Carrington who now has amnesia and has married Miles Colby, Jeff's cousin. Sabella "Sable" Colby made her mark as the schemeing vixen to keep her husband Jason close and to stay super rich.

This was Adrian's first major break. He appeared in this series playing Russian ballet danceur Nikolai Rostov. The role was loosely based on the Baryshnikov character, who in the film "White Knights" defected to the U.S. to escape the Communist regime. Adrian shot 22 episodes before the show was taken off the air by ABC.
